I sketched him. He was a wonderful man.

         Imaginary narrative of my husband and I at the beginning and the end 
        of this life together. The bridge is a symbol of crossing into a marriage from 
         singleness and from this life to the next. That is Eric, old, in the top right 
       corner looking out of my empty studio.
